Brian Farrell

Personal Profile

Brian2.jpg

I have been playing the piano since I was six years old. Music was always my passion, and becoming a professional musician was my goal since I was a child. Getting accepted to The Juilliard School with a scholarship, and graduating with 2 degrees (Bachelor's and Master's) made this goal a reality. I have played recitals and concerts throughout the United States, Europe, and South Korea. In 2000, I performed in Carnegie Hall, and that same year I was hired as Assistant Conductor at LA Opera. In 2003, I became the co-founder of a non-profit opera company in Hollywood, CA, and in 2004 I was hired by California State University as a voice and opera coach and teacher.

My passion and desire is to share my musical knowledge, training, and experience with others. My students have included young children learning the piano, an 81-yr-old opera singer, famous pop singers (including Katharine McPhee), world renowned opera singers, broadway and jazz singers as well as pianists of all ages and skill levels.
